Background
The NextGen Roadmapping Event is a key event in making your organization more adaptable. In it the roadmap ist prepared for the upcoming planning cycle. Needed teams per roadmap items are identified so that they can align around the prioritized work to be done, bottlenecks and suboptimizations are identified prioriritzation decisions are made and the roadmap is optimized.
In this full-day intensive training, we provide portfolio managers, team representatives and coaches with all the information they need to prepare for, organize and run a NextGen Roadmapping event and to process the results.
Purpose and Goals
This training prepares participants to effectively plan, align, and optimize portfolio initiatives during the NextGen Roadmapping (NGR) Event (previously called PPE), ensuring that teams are deployed to maximize value delivery, minimize risks, and achieve portfolio goals.

Training Description
This full-day training covers the purpose and outcomes of NGR Events, preparation steps, and key facilitation techniques. Participants will engage in hands-on exercises to simulate roadmap alignment, team deployment planning and dependency management.
The session also addresses common challenges and provides best practices for ensuring alignment and follow-up success. By the end, attendees will leave with practical templates, a preparation checklist, and the confidence to drive effective NGR Events in their organizations.
