Purpose and Background
This is a key steps in organizing around value and is essential for a successful adaptive organization. The aim of this workshop is to evaluate collaboration structures along value streams and to identify organizational measures that can lead to measurable improvements in value creation. The workshop looks at both the cooperation structures within an implementation unit in the value stream in order to identify optimizations, as well as the way in which the unit works together with others in one or more larger value streams.
Based on the experience that most problems in collaboration are due to suboptimal consideration of the value stream, the workshop goes beyond standard vakue stream analysis (such as that offered by SAFe) and focuses pragmatically and practically on the specific, current challenges in the collaboration of the organizational unit and develops possible approaches to solving them based on the analysis of the value stream.
What outputs you can expect
Value stream overview for the analyzed area
Dynamic collaboration map (which areas are impacted by which requirements and when)
List of recommendations for addressing current collaboration issues
List of prioritized organizational backlog items (The exact outputs depend on the details of the preparation and participation).
