The Adaptive Value Stream Workshop helps organizations gain a clear understanding of how value is generated and delivered to their customers. Workshop Details and Agenda

The workshop is a two-day in-person workshop designed for a maximum of sixteen people. It can be run in German or English.

Preparation Phase

1-3 remote preparatory discussions: These remote sessions allow us to set the focus of the workshop based on your organization’s specific needs and current challenges. During this phase, we will agree on the scope of the value streams to be analyzed and the organizational goals you aim to achieve and the participants required to make the workshop a success.

Module 1: Identifying Your Value Generation Paths

  • Introduction to Value Streams: Understand what value streams are and why they’re crucial for your organization’s      success.

  • Identifying Your Value Streams: Guided exercises to reveal the main pathways of value creation in your business.

  • Practical Application: Learn how to use value streams to drive strategic initiatives and operational efficiency.

Module 2: Capability Mapping

  • Understanding Business Capabilities: Delve into what business capabilities are and how they support value generation.

  • Mapping Capabilities to Value Streams: Identify and map the specific capabilities needed to operationalize each      step of your value streams.

  • Building Consensus: Collaboratively create a high-level VS-Capability Map that aligns your teams and lays the      groundwork for optimization.

Module 3: Leveraging the Results for Organizational Success

  • Adding Dynamics to the Map: Explore how value streams evolve over time and how to adjust them dynamically.

  • Strategic and Operational Uses: Learn how to use the VS-Capability Map to optimize governance, streamline strategy      execution, and support operational decision-making.

  • Practical Insights: Understand how the results can drive improvements in road-mapping, team assignments, and      resource allocation.
