Value Streams and eTOM

The organizational architecture model (eTOM) is integrated with the SAFe Value Stream and ART identification workshop.

We explain how this works and how the problems of poor communication between different business and IT departments, unclear accountability and other impediments to business agility are reduced by this approach.

We use the eTOM capability model decouple the description of business requirements from IT applications makes reorganizing around value easier.

This is based on our successful experience of implementing the model at Deutsche Telekom. The mechanisms shown are a precursor to Rimagin's dynamic zones concept.
